This trip starts inland, north of Colombo, and ends inside the ramparts of Galle Fort. Along the way there's an elephant safari and a sundowner conversation with an elephant specialist, an ancient rock-carved Buddha, a farmer's lunch beside the rice paddies, a night in an off-grid village, a full day of rest and relaxation, and two days inside Yala National Park with naturalists with extensive knowledge of the park's leopards and elephants.
